Due to the volume of vehicles involved, the issuing of parking violation citations and towing will start at 5am promptly. Parking restrictions will also be in effect on Halsted Street from Addison to Grace. Parking will be prohibited in this area from Friday, June 26, 2009, 10am - 11pm and Saturday, June 27, 2009, 3am through Sunday, June 28 at 8pm. These areas will also be posted with temporary signs indicating the above listed dates and times. Violators will be ticketed and towed. |

It's almost time for the 15th Annual
Uptown Summer Unity Festival! This year's event will be held at
Clarendon Park, 4501 N. Clarendon, from 10am-5pm on August 1st. There is still space
available for food and merchandise vendors. No fees for your

 Mayor Daley's Summer Track Program
Hey, Kids - ages 9 - 14! Join a track team this summer and have fun training and running track meets against other teams throughout the City of Chicago. The program starts Monday, June 22 and ends August 15 with an Olympic-style Track Meet featuring runners, jumpers and throwers. Training at Chase Park (Clark & Leland) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4pm to 5pm.
