The parade will be on Halsted between Belmont and Cornelia.

Traffic closure will be in effect from 7:00pm- 9:15pm.

 
REMINDER: Trick or Treat Trot 5K & 10K

EVENT:  20th Annual Trick or Treat Trot 5K & 10K   START:  9:00 am

LOCATION:  Montrose Harbor 4400 N. Lake Shore Drive – Exit Montrose or Wilson

The Trick or Treat Trot has become a Halloween weekend tradition, attracting 2,500 participants, providing fun for people of all ages.  The event includes both a 5K and 10K Run as well as a 5K Walk, Junior Dash and Costume Contest. This event benefits La Rabida Children’s Hospital, the only hospital in the country solely dedicated to caring for children with chronic illness, disabilities, or who have been abused or neglected.

Entry fees as follows: 5K Run, Walk and 10K Run - By mail, at Fleet Feet Sports or On-Line $30, and Race Day (cash only) $35.  For the Monster Mash Dash (kids 2-14): by mail, at Fleet Feet Sports or on-line $12 and race day (cash only) $15.

Purchase a discounted compost bin!  Buy one for $30 at the Chicago Center for Green Technology, 445 N. Sacramento Blvd. on Saturdays through Nov. 10, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays through Nov. 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
