Ald. Shiller has consistently fought against government waste and taxes of all sorts.  Shiller's history of votes against property taxes is undisputed. 

"As regressive as property taxes are, the hidden flat fees and parking fees in city and county government are even more regressive," explained Shiller.

In that vein, Shiller has consistently fought to remove the burden of so-called "hidden taxes." In the past, Shiller has:
