Truman College is the city's most populous and city's most diverse junior college.  Truman College has credit courses, adult education classes, ESL classes, business and computer classes, a reknowned nursing program, cosmetology, automobile tech classes and more.

 Alderman Shiller has worked with Truman's administration to create collaborative efforts with Uplift Community School, Senn High School, and other area educational institutions.

In addition, Truman is a great community partner with other organizations.  Truman will be opening its doors as part of a unique hybrid senior satellite center in conjunction with the City's Department of Aging .

In conjunction with former State Rep. Larry McKeon, Alderman Shiller recently obtained additional state funding to allow Truman to build a parking facility and a student center facility as part of the Wilson Yard Development Project.
