State Identification Cards

Ald. Helen Shiller teams with Secretary of State Jesse White to issue State ID's.

Each year, Alderman Helen Shiller and Secretary of State Jesse White bring State ID cards and driver's license renewals to the 46th Ward Community Service Office. The 46th Ward Office requests a schedule that includes six different dates over the course of one year. Depending on the volume of requests they receive, the Secretary of State's office provides us with as many of those dates as possible.

A mobile unit comes to the 46th Ward Office to administer the ID's. All those applying for a new State ID must have proof of address, a certified birth certificate, a Social Security card (no printouts), and $20.00.

Call our office at 773.878.4646 to find out the next date this service will be offered.
