What's Happening at Truman College?
07/16/2007

Truman College, one of the premier City Colleges and a cornerstone of the Uptown community since 1976, is planning to build a new parking garage and expand the student services center to meet the needs of the students, faculty and the community.

The student services center expansion and additional parking will benefit students, staff and faculty and be an asset to the community.  Benefits of the community-focused design include:

  • Expanded parking for students and faculty to relieve resident and business street parking
  • Potential weekend garage parking open to the public
  • Expanding continuing education programs for the community, such as yoga, exercise and financial planning courses
  • Additional green space and landscaping, which will improve the environment and be enjoyed by students and community residents alike

July 26, 2007, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
