ImageC3 is an initiative of the Chicago Department of Environment, which - in collaboration with partner organizations - supports C3 Leaders by providing training, technical assistance and resources.   Now is your opportunity to join Chicago Conservation Corps and make Chicago the "greenest city in the nation."

Participate in the Spring 2008 Environmental Leadership Training

LEARN: You'll learn from community and environmental leaders about urban environmental challenges and opportunities for change.

LEAD:  Take what you've learned and make something happen

ACT: Take action and lead an environmental service project in your community with C3 support and resources.

Attend an orientation this February to learn more

  • Thursday, February 21, 7-8pm @ the South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 South Shore Drive, Chicago IL 60649
  • Saturday, February 23, 10am to 11am @ the Chicago Center for Green Technology, 445 N Sacramento Blvd., Chicago IL 60612
  • Monday, February 25, noon - 1pm @ the Chicago Department of Environment, 30 N LaSalle St., Chicago IL 60602

To apply for C3 Leadership Training, you must be a City of Chicago resident and attend one orientation.  Spring 2008 training will be held at the Chicago Center for Green Technology, 445 N Sacramento Blvd., Chicago IL 60612.  The training consists of four classes held on Tuesday evening from 6pm - 9:30pm: March 4, 11, 18 and 25 with an optional field trip on Saturday, March 15.  A $75 fee covers course participation and project support.  Financial assistance is available upon request.
