CTA Construction Activity Notice

We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Red Line. While progress sometimes comes with
inconveniences, we will do our best to keep them to a minimum.

Location: Red Line: Between the Sheridan and Addison stations
Dates: Beginning December 29, 2008 through May 2009, Tuesdays through Fridays, and Saturdays
Work Hours: Tuesdays through Fridays: 8:30am – 3pm (each day) Saturdays: 7am – 3pm
Work Activity: Track Maintenance Impact to Residents:

  • There will be noise while the work is being performed.
  • Affected alleys will have limited access during work hours.
  • “No parking” restrictions will be in effect under the elevated structure along CTA’s right-of-way.
