It's summer and Lake View Citizens' Council is sponsoring our 6th annual Lake View Music Fest on Saturday August 22nd and Sunday August 23rd from 12 Noon to 10p.m. each day on Sheffield from Addison to Waveland. 

Located in the heart of one of Chicago's most thriving neighborhoods - and home to some of the most popular entertainment venues in Chicago - the Lake View Music Fest offers continuous live music, tastings from area restaurants, and goods and wares from local merchants. It'll be two days of music, food, beverages and fun.  

 

But we need your help to make this event a success.  Read below on how you can Get Involved!

Work a Shift at the Beer Tent or Gate

 

LVCC is looking for volunteers to pour the beer in the beer booths and help out at the entrance gates. Each charity that sends its volunteers gets to keep the tips their team collects at the beer tent.  This is a fun way to raise some money for your organization.  The admission to the event will be free for volunteers. 

We are asking people to sign up for 1 hour shifts. Please forward this to your volunteers and send me their names, email address and cell phone number. Local Businesses

We have a limited number of openings for retailers for food and beverage (water, juice and pop only) vendors and retail (non-food) booths. All Lake View vendors will be able to secure a discounted rate for their booths at the Lake View Music Festival.

 

The application can be found at www.chicagoevents.com. We have purposely planned to have only a few food/beverage vendors so each booth can make a good profit without too much competition. Local vendors will be offered a discounted rate and be sure to let Chicago Special Events that you are a Lake View business so you can get the special rate.
