Via the CTA

Bus and rail service changes will take effect on February 7, 2010.

The service changes are:

Rail (Train) - CTA will continue to operate all (8) rail lines. Hours and days or rail service will remain the same, but service will operate less frequently.

Bus - Nine express bus routes are being eliminated. Local bus routes will continue to operate where express routes are being eliminated.  Buses will also run less frequently primarily during off peak/non-rush hours.
