Pledging To Fight For Expanded Service 

Cuts in public transportation is an issue that impacts everybody in the city and the Ward.  It is an issue, however, that impacts senior citizens particularly hard.  Helen Shiller fought against several of the proposed CTA cuts for bus lines that impacted seniors in the eastern and southern parts of the Ward.

Alderman Shiller pledges that during her next term she will continue to push CTA to expand and now cut services.  And, she will continue to push the CTA to recognize the particular needs of senior citizens.
