Mikva
Challenge youth program is seeking applications from young Chicagoans
ages 15 to 23 to participate on three Mikva Challenge city youth
councils.
The Mikva Challenge is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that promotes the development of civic leadership in Chicago high school youth. Our department helped establish the Mikva youth councils and supports their activities. Each council is comprised of students from around the city and meets quarterly to consider issues and concerns facing Chicago youth. Applications for the councils and further information on Mikva Challenge programs are available online at http://www.mikvachallenge.org/. Applications should be submitted by April 15th.
While schools and youth-serving agencies are being notified about this opportunity by the Mikva Challenge program, we would greatly appreciate your sharing this information with young people and organizations in your community that you think might be interested.
Applications are due by Friday, April 15th at 5pm.
